Help!
Good day WBLA friends, Ian Radford is helping St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital raise money by participating in the 2012 Warrior’s Dash in Huntersville, NC on Saturday, May 19th. Each Warrior is asked to raise money & Ian’s goal is $250. So far Ian has raised $85! If 11 of you donate $15 he will reach his goal! Will you please help Ian be a Warrior for the children of St. Jude’s? His link is below or you can go to his facebook page & find the link there.

Here is a quote from one of our members who was at our event this past weekend-it captures it all!
So, I just want to let you guys know that Saturday was a blast! I’m glad Emmy talked me into participating. It gave me a great excuse to hang out on the beach all day watching good surfers, listening to great music, enjoying fun company and appreciating the truly mellow vibe. Otherwise, I would have just paid my two bucks, surfed for an hour, and headed home to catch up on work. What a mistake that would have been! My only regret is that I did not buy any raffle tickets…and with all those TONS of amazing prizes, I wish I had. Oh well, next year! Thanks for all your very hard work and tremendous organization. I hope we funded a few scholarships…
