2013 Scholarship Announcement
Now accepting submissions!
Two $1,000 scholarships are being offered by the Wrightsville Beach Longboard Association for active, local student-surfers (female/male category) seeking to further their education. Each scholarship awarded to the selected applicants will be for the upcoming academic year (2013-2014) and the winner will be announced on/after May 1, 2013. Applications for high school seniors or college undergraduates are available at school guidance centers, financial aid offices and area surf shops. Instructions and guidelines for properly completing the application are included in the application and on this web site during the open period.
Note: Previous winners are ineligible. Participating individuals are encouraged to submit applications before the published deadline and all scholarship information should be mailed/emailed to:
